Delta resident Heather A. Albrecht passed away at her home on Monday October 12, 2015. She was 39 years old.
Heather Ann Shea was born December 10, 1975 in Delta, CO, to Steve and Becky (Lucy) Shea. She spent her childhood in Delta and graduated from Delta High School with the class of 1993. She enjoyed raising rabbits, steers, showing her horse and sewing in 4H.
She continued her education at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.
On September 30, 2006 she married the love of her life, Hank Albrecht, in Dubois, WY. They made their home in Green River, WY until August of 2015 when they moved back to Delta.
Heather enjoyed floral designing at several flower shops in Colorado as well as in Wyoming. Spending time with her family and friends was always a priority for her.
Heather is survived by her husband, Hank Albrecht; son, Daniel Albrecht; daughter, Lilly Albrecht; parents: Steve and Becky Shea; brother, Matt (Jackie) Shea and their five girls: Cassidy, Miranda, Sadie, Carli and Megan; her paternal grandmother, Ozella Shea; and her maternal grandparents: Don and Peg Lucy, all of Delta.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Heather Albrecht memorial fund at any Wells Fargo Bank to benefit her children’s education.
A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at First Assembly of God in Delta. Burial will follow in Delta City Cemetery. Viewing and visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday October 16, 2015 at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta.
