If Sue had a mantra for how she lived, it might have been "Embrace life and the people around you." Sue was a true lover of people, nature and peaceful moments. With an open heart and open ears, Sue touched the lives of many as a teacher at schools throughout Edmonton and believed in the importance of personal connection and investment in young people.
She was an avid gardener and animal-lover, spending endless hours on the small hobby farm where she lived with her husband Rick. That farm was home to countless different animals over the years that Sue adopted and cared for, making any visits to the Kohler farm an exciting and fun experience! When she wasn't taking care of the farm, she was often booking trips around the world, fuelling her zeal for travel.
Her truest passion in life was her family."
