Zillah Rooney, 91 of Kennett, died Monday, October 12, 2015 in Kennett. Zillah was born to the late Thomas and Nina Freeman Gardner November 9, 1923 in Clinton, Arkansas.
Zillah was a farmer and a member of Caruth Baptist Church.

Zillah is survived by her two sons: Johnny (Irma) Rooney of Kennett

Tommy Rooney of Bragg City

Three Daughters: Bertha Blanchard of St. Louis, Missouri

Shirley (Troy) Alley of Caruth, Missouri

Debra (Royce) Allen of Kennett, Missouri

One Brother: Charlie Gardner

One Sister Bessie Tillman

Nine Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren

Zillah is preceded in death by her husband H.B. Rooney, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2015 in the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Carter officiating, burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, October 15 at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Mrs. Ronney’s grandchildren. Great grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
