Mrs. Shumaker was born in Athens, Ohio, and was raised in Springfield, moving to Lafayette, Ind. in 1959.
She was a member of the Fourth Presbyterian Church and Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are her husband, Frank; one son, Donald L. of Kokomo, Ind,; one brother, Robert England of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. L.M. DeLong and Mrs. Charles Brewer, both of Chatham; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bisch Memorial Home. Rev. Milton Mosbacher will officiate.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
