Albert D. Carneal was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on February 5, 2008.
Albert was born in Limon, Colorado to Russell and Gladys Ashcraft Carneal of Kutch, Colorado. Albert graduated from Simla High School in 1962. He served in the United States Army from 1965-1967 during the Vietnam War. He served in Germany as a communication specialist transferring top-secret messages from Vietnam to the Pentagon.

He worked for Ampex and Schlage Lock before working for Colorado Springs Utilities as a journeyman mechanic at the power plants. He retired from the City in 1998. Albert loved Jesus and was thankful for the gift of salvation. He was the prayer warrior of his family. He attended Rocky Mountain Calvary.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie (Woolsey;) children, son Christopher, Fountain and daughter Heather Strossner (Jeff)Joney, Carneal; grandchildren, Katelynn, Garrett, Kyndal, Brystol, Naerissa, Tristin; brothers, Darreld (Maryetta), Rush, Larry (Gina), Pueblo; sisters, Arlene Felch. Lakeland, Florida, Betty Stockman (Paul) of Jefferson City, Missouri and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Ray Felch.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 N Academy Blvd, with fellowship luncheon followed at Living Word Community Church, 532 Colorado Ave, Calhan, Colorado.

Internment at Calhan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Albert's name can be made to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 825 E Pikes Peak Ave, Ste 600 Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903 or a charity of your choice.
