LEE – Virgil Hobart Abell, 65, died suddenly, Wednesday, July 4, 1962 at his home in Lee.
He was born July 9, 1896 near Compton the son of Phillip and Ida M’cein-Abell. He married Lillian Edwards on April 9, 1924.
Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Joyce) Morrison, Sycamore; two granddaughters; a brother, Donald Abell, Hobart, Ind. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the First Lutheran Church with Rev. A. Kruggel officiating. Burial will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Thorsen Funeral Home, Shabbona, Friday evening and until time of services.
