Thelma Angelley, 70, of Harrison, died Saturday, Oct. 10 (2015) at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Gaither
Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
The daughter of William and Lillie (Aaron) Angelley was born March 28, 1945, in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Thelma Louise Angelley was born March 28, 1945, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the youngest child of William Rollin Angelley and Lillie Aaron Angelley. She passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her home in Harrison, Arkansas.

She was a wonderful person with a heart full of love. She was a mother who raised five children, Shari, who preceded her in death, Billy, Angela Kathryn, Kimberley and Amy, all born in Lubbock, Texas. She had her hands full with five kids!

Thelma grew up in a large family, the youngest of seven children. Her brothers and sisters were J. R. Angelley, Kathryn Angelley, Stanley Angelley, William Angelley, Eleanor Angelley and Jerry Angelley.

She was born in Idabel, Oklahoma March 28, 1945. After the death of her father in 1948, her mother moved the
family to Lubbock, Texas to be near her parents.

In 1949, her mother married her step-father, Kenneth Smith, who became the father in her life. The later moved
to the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area and in later years she found herself moving to Arkansas.

Thelma spent much of her childhood in Lubbock. She was never able to attend college or have a lot of money, but what she did have was a loving heart for everyone she met. She was rich in other ways. Along with four of her children.

Thelma is survived by her sister, Kathryn Herd; her brother, Butch Angelley; and her sister-in-law, Helga Angelley. She is also survived by her grandchildren,
Lexus Wood, Elijah Weaver, Skylor Weaver, Mike Barnes, Sophia Weaver, Dalton Ramsdell, Mariah Weaver, Taylin Barnes and Isabella Shultz.

Graveside service was Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Gaither Cemetery, with Bro. Kerry Liggett officiating.
