MARY MATULEWICZ
(1869 - 1961)
Mrs. Mary Matulewicz, 91, of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient one month.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Home Chapel, the Rev. Casimir Stec., O.F.M, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Matulewicz was born Mary Kubis June 11, 1869, in Poland, daughter of the late Lawrence and Michaelina Szymanski Kubis. She was married to Michael Matulewicz in Poland and they came to the United States as a young couple. He preceded her in death. More than 25 years ago and two sons also preceded her in death. She took up residence at St. Mary Home 28 years ago and would have celebrated her 92nd birthday Sunday.
Survivors include grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. Mary Home between 2:30 and 5 p.m. Sunday. Friends and residents of the home will recite the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel.
Funeral arrangements have been made by Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc.
