Floyd R. Warfield, 67, of 6620 E. Road 110S, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday at Bartholomew County Hospital after an illness of one year. He retired in 1981 after 30 years at Cummins Engine Co.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Don Byrnes at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 o'clock tonight and from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Warfield was born May 23, 1916, in Shelby County, the son of William J. and Cassie Linville Warfield. He married Mary K. Sanders Aug. 3, 1936 at Rushville and she survives. He was a member of tWesley Chapel and the board of stewards at the church.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Barbara Linn of 11002 E. Ind. 7, and Sandy Talkington of 221 Coovert, two sons, David Warfield of 2240 W. Deaver and Donald Warfield of 2725 Williamsburg and 10 grandchildren."
