ASHEBORO - Mrs. Mary Hollifield Boger, 84, formerly of 817 Cliff Rd., Asheboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at Christian Health Center of Lexington, Ky.

The funeral will be 12 noon Friday at First United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Michael Jordan. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.

A native of Rutherford, she was the widow of W.J. Boger, who was a former superintendent of Randolph County Schools. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and a former employee with Delk's Florist and B.B. Walker Company.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Christine Haynes of Charlotte, Mrs. Fran Morrison of Apex, Mrs. Billie Spinks of Lexington; son, Bob Boger of Charlotte; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Miss Frances Hollifield of Charlotte.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 224 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, N.C., or Alzheimer's Association, 836 Oak St., Suite 451, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27101.
