Marceil G. Fout
Marceil G. Fout, 91, of Chillicothe, went home at 12:30am, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 6, 1924, in Ross County to the late Walter A. and Frankie Grace (Purdum) Gillfillan. On November 25, 1945, she married Charles E. Fout, who preceded her in death on January 29, 1993.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Connie (Richard) Evans, of Chillicothe; son and daughter-in-law Charles W. (Teresa) Fout, of Kingston; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law John (Norma Jean) Gillfillan; James Gordon (Shirley) Gillfillan; and Thomas (Kathy) Gillfillan; and a sister-in-law Maxine Gillfillan. She was predeceased by her brother Richard.
Marceil was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, was active in the Sunday School, Missionary Circle and Bible study. She enjoyed painting with oils, was a member of Chillicothe Art League and taught art classes. She was also a member of the Ross Co. Senior Citizens and enjoyed quilting. She will be remembered as a special lady.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, May 15, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 11am until 1pm at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
