Bernice Boten Loeffler, 75, passed away June 25, 1998, at her home in Lee's Summit, MO. Mrs. Loeffler was born December 14, 1922, in Walnut, KS., daughter of Moses M. and Lila B. Logan Davisson. She was married to Lloyd O. Boten on December 14, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1990 after 50 years of marriage. She was married to Herbert V. Loeffler on January 7, 1996. She was a member of the Lee's Summit Christian Church, the Christian Women's Fellowship, the Federated Women's Club and the Jackson County Extension. She was a volunteer with Volunteer Services and the Auxiliary of the Lee's Summit, Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert V. Loeffler, of the home; her children, L. Thomas Boten and his wife, Mary Alice, Overland Park, KS.; the Rev. Peg Boten Haub, Osage Beach, MO.; Carol M. More and her husband Richard, Stover, MO.; and Charles D. Boten and his wife Elaine, Lee's Summit; Herbert's sons, Chuck Loeffler,Lenexa, KS., and Larry Loeffler, Independince, MO.; a sister, Cleta Decker, Lee's Summit; her brother, Bernard Davisson, Terry More, Todd More, Stephanie Banning, Mark Haub and Lindsay Boten; and six great-grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Davisson, in 1970.
