Thomas Phillip Finck was born in 1953 the son of Paul and Freda (Kienzle) Finck. He grew up on the family farm north of Lehr with five siblings and attended Lehr Public School where he graduated in 1971. Upon graduation he joined the National Guard and served his country. On October 25th, 1974 he married Corrine Kay Bader. They purchased a farmstead north of Lehr, where they began their farming and ranching operation, lasting throughout his lifetime.
