The body of Jesse W. McIntosh, former pioneer resident of western Merrick county whose demise occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cora Omelin, in Pomona, Cal., will arrive in Grand Island at 2 p.m. Thursday and funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, with burial in the Richland cemetery, at Marquette. Mr. McIntosh, who was about 85 years of age, located in Merrick county in the early days (and) in recent years had resided in California. Besides his daughter, he is survived by a son, Walter McIntosh, of Chapman. The latter left last Friday for Pomona, in response to a message announcing the serious illness of his father. Members of Friendship lodge No. 239, A. F. & A. M. of Chapman, will conduct ritualistic services at the grave.
