Floyd Adams, 76, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Dalhart, Texas

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Memorial Park Cemetery - Rusty Hancock, Pastor officiating - under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home.

Floyd Herman Adams was born June 6, 1939 in Winston, MO to Charles and Nancy (Tull) Adams. On December 5, 1959 he married Arlene Marie Harsh. They moved to Dalhart in the late sixties. Floyd worked for the City of Dalhart as a heavy equipment operator for over 28 years. His love for family was felt by every generation – Even when he was “Stern” his love shined!!

Survivors include - Teresa and her husband Bill Valdez, Rose and her husband Bobby Beasley, Nellie Adams and Nina Adams all of Dalhart, Sons – Claude and his wife Connie Adams of Dumas, Charley and his wife Diane Adams of Amarillo, and Victor and his wife Marie McFaddin, 2 sisters – Jessie Couchman and Dorothy Post

DALHART — Floyd Adams, 76, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015.

Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rusty Hancock, pastor, officiating, Arrangements were by Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart.

Mr. Adams was born June 6, 1939, in Winston, Mo., to Charles and Nancy Tull Adams. He married Arlene Marie Harsh on Dec. 5, 1959.

Survivors include four daughters, Teresa Valdez, Rose Beasley, Nellie Adams and Nina Adams, all of Dalhart; three sons, Claude Adams of Dumas, Charley Adams of Amarillo and Victor McFaddin; two sisters, Jessie Couchman and Dorothy Post; 24 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
