Norbert was the husband of Margreatha Catharine Brunner. He immigrated from Germany in 1848. His trade was listed as Blacksmith.

In the census records, he lived in Novi and then Lyon Township, both in Oakland County, Michigan. There are 2 death records, on one it states Aug 15 1888, but his will was probated in Dec of 1887, so Aug 20 1887 is more likely. He is listed as a farmer in the census records. All the children were born in Michigan.

Norbert and Margreatha were parents of:

Gotlieb b. 1855 d. 1894
Jacob b. 1856 d. 1907
John b. 1857 d. 1922
Catharine b. 1859 d. 1928 (wife of George Goodell)
George b. 1862 d. 1928
Frank b. 1865 d. 1920
Anton b. 1867
Norbert b. 1870 d. 1942

Note - On son George's marriage and death record - his mother's maiden name is Grehl/Kroll. But on sibling records her maiden name is Brunner or Bronner.

There is no stone and this is an assumed burial as his wife was buried here and this is where he was living at the time of his death. There are 3 grave sites next to Margreatha, all unmarked. I might assume that Anton is also buried here.
