Born in North Whitehall Township, May 21, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Lillian A. (Mickley) Peters. She was employed as a custodian in the Housekeeping Department of The Phoebe Home, Inc. in Allentown for 15 years before retiring.
Survivors: Daughter, Carolyn E. wife of LaMar E. Broadhead of Slatington, Martha A. wife of the Rev. Nicholas R. Fair of Fort Collins, CO; son, William F. Biery of Catasauqua; siblings, Matilda S. Perl of Allentown, Edna J. Leabold of Whitehall, Pearl J. Solt and Thomas O. Peters both of Allentown; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
Services: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2014 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Monday and 10 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
