The Weston Democrat, Fri. 2 Aug. 1912:
"DAVISSON, MRS. ELIZABETH - IN MEMORIAM: Widow of late Capt. George I. Davisson, died at her home near Jacksonville on July 18th (sic, 19th, per death record). Daughter of John and Rebecca Lorentz Morrow, born in Weston May 6, 1845. Married at age 17, mother of nine children, two sons and seven daughters, all of whom only, one son, Edwin G. Davisson and three daughters, Mrs. Lele D. Phillips, Mrs. Flora Koblegard and Mrs. Mary Clayton, survive. Also survived by one brother, John Morrow of Springfield, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Bird Cookman, of this county, and Mrs. Reagle of Denver, Colorado."
