Carol Heimrick, 73, of 3215 W. TR 26, McCutchenville, died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and ReHab Center, Upper Sandusky. She was born July 1, 1942, in Sycamore, to Bryan B. and Dorothy L. (Riedel) Sloman. She married Donald McNutt Aug. 19,1962 and they later divorced. She then married David Heimrick Oct. 18, 1986 and he survives.
Surviving are two children, Carmen (Michael) Metzger of rural New Riegel and Andrew McNutt of Tiffin; three stepchildren, Lisa L. Heimrick of Findlay, Lori (Jim) Gosche of Tiffin and David Eric (Karen) Heimrick of McCutchenville; twelve grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters, Kay Bell of rural Sycamore and Lois (Ray) Sipe of Upper Sandusky.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Ann Hendrickson.
She was a teacher's aide for many years, first working at Angeline School and then at Seneca County Youth Center. She was a 1960 graduate of Mohawk High School and a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church, where she was involved with many aspects and committees within the church over the years. For hobbies she loved to read, crochet and socialize with people.
The funeral for Carol will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Rick Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville
