Mayville, June 12 - Mrs. Hattie Johnson, widow of Alfred Johnson, 56 Valley Street, died suddenly this afternoon following a brief illness. She was 62 years old. Mrs. Johnson had a son who was killed in the World War. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Crandall and Mrs. Mable Chapman of Mayville; Mrs. Ruth Beech of Jamestown; and Mrs. Nettie Stevens in California; six brothers, Horace Baker in Indiana, Bert Baker of Dewittsville, Charles Baker of Westfield, Morris and Orimel Baker of Stockton and Victor Baker of Mayville. The funeral will be held privately Wednesday at 1 P.M. (DST) from the Hemstreet Funeral Home with Burial in Bear Lake.
