Elaine Pierce Dye, 55, of Monticello, AR passed away in the early morning hours on September 28, 2015. She was born in Lake Village, AR on September 8, 1960 and is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Nettie May (Granny) Jones and grandfather, James William Jones of Mansfield, TX. Elaine is survived by numerous loved ones; Troy Piper of Monticello was her best friend, partner, and soul-mate. She is also survived by her parents, Lloyd and Wanda Pierce of Lake Village, AR; three daughters: Nicole (Nathan) Madewell of Cookeville, TN, JoBeth (Mitch) King of Winona, MS, and Heather (Chris) Cannatella of Lake Village, AR; one brother, Britt Pierce of Lake Village; three sisters: Nora (Reed) Breedlove of Lake Village, Cindy (Chris) Sims of McGehee, and Lisa (Jim) Coats of Springdale, AR. She has two granddaughters: Lily Grace Madewell and Keathley Mae King and another grandchild on the way. Elaine also has four nephews, two great nieces and a host of extended family and friends.

Known as “E” and “Poodle” by those closest to her, Elaine was a graduate of Montrose Academy and went on to get her cosmetology license from Delta Beauty School. She was a music lover, an avid reader and writer, was artistic and loved a good joke and a hearty laugh. Many memories of her include tears of laughter rolling down her cheeks while playing Spades or Gin Rummy.

Elaine was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. There is a huge hole in our hearts that can never be filled until we see her again in our heavenly home. She will certainly be missed by her three “precious angels.” We all love you, E, and know that you are at peace.

Visitation will be at 5pm to 7pm Wednesday, September 30th at Bishop-King Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00pm on Thursday, October 1st at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Jennie Cemetery in Lake Village under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
