Agnes M. Asberry, 89 of Canton, entered her Heavenly rest in the arms of her Savior on September 27, 2015. She was born November 20, 1925 in Knoxville, TN.
Agnes was a faithful member of Greater Bethel Apostolic Church and loved her family, both blood and church related, with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Homer Warren Asberry Sr.; mother, Maxie Youngblood; sons, Ronnie Asberry and Homer Asberry Jr.; sister, Carrie Polk; and sister-in-Christ, Rhoda Early.
Agnes is survived by two sons, Pastor Ricky (Patricia) Asberry and Darryl Asberry; sister, Ida Wallace; nephew, Larry (Peggy) Wade of Las Vegas, NV; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 3-5pm in Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 12noon in Greater Bethel Apostolic Church with visitation one hour prior from 11-12pm. Interment will follow at North Lawn Cemetery.
