She was born December 10, 1909, in the Palacky Township in Ellsworth County to James and Ada (Bichner) Weseley.
She married John Judson Barclay on May 21, 1938, in Wilson. She was a homemaker and school teacher. A member of the Oakley First Christian Church, she was an area resident for 65 years.
Survivors include her husband of the home, and a sister, Alice McFarland, Hays.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at the Oakley First Christian Church with the Revs. Leroy Herder and Charles Towne officiating; burial in the Gove Cemetery.
