Ralph Edmir Anderson, third child of Helen and Andrew Anderson was born at Gove, Kansas March 9, 1927 and passed away May 19, 1962 at the County Hospital, Quinter, Kansas.

Ralph attended Gove grade school and Gove high school. He served in the Armed Forces for a short time and received his medical discharge February 28, 1951.

He was baptized into the Gove Methodist Church December 28, 1951. On July 23, 1958, he was united in marriage to Norma J. Smith at Lawton, Oklahoma.

Ralph loved hunting and fishing as his hobbies. He was a member of American Legion and the National Rifle Association.

He remained cheerful during his long illness and was an inspiration to those who knew him. He was well liked in his community and will be greatly missed by his many friends and loved ones.

He leaves his wife Norma; parents Andrew and Helen Anderson; one sister Mrs. Tom Wood, Freeport Texas; three brothers Andrew Jr. of Wichita; Charles of Oakley and Richard of Gove; four nephews; aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Ralph Anderson, 35, were held at Gove Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon of this week. He died at the county hospital in Quinter May 18th, following a lingering illness.

Rev. Roger Shanks of Gove was clergyman and arrangements were by the Don S. Hall Funeral Home of Oakley.

Hymns were sung by Mrss. Roger Shanks, Shirley Beougher, L. C. Neal and W. S. Powers, with Mrs. Raymond Roemer as pianist.

Organist: Mrs. W. S. Beesley.

Casketbearers were Don Crippen, Frank Morse, J.G. Porter, Max Wilson, Leslie Kerns, Wm. Hanna.
