Earline Pruitt White, 92, of Collierville, passed from this life Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Memphis Jewish Home. Mrs. White was born in Pemiscot County, MO, November 26, 1922 to the late Thomas and Cleo Boyles Pruitt. Earline was a chartered member of the Collierville Church of God and served as the church secretary for 40 years. In 1949 she and her husband, Robert Lamar White, started a Taxi business in Collierville. She also worked at Wonder Products and eventually retired with the Carrier Corporation. She is survived by a daughter, Sherry White, sons; Stanley and Carl White, two grandsons: Bill and Chris White, and 4 great-grandchildren: Bailee, Carson, Chelsea and Andrew. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Collierville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle Hill Cemetery in Piperton.
