Elizabeth S. Hubbard, 73 of 420 Seventeenth street NE, widow of Irvin Hubbard, and a Cedar Rapids resident most of her life, died at her home Tuesday. She was born May 10, 1903, at Hamilton, Ill., and was married April 27, 1923, in Cedar Rapids. Surviving are two sons, Joseph H. Marion, and Irvin L. Hubbard, Des Moines; a daughter Jane Brandt, New Port Beach, Calif.; a sister, Frances Headrick, Cedar Rapids, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services:Turner Chapel east at noon Thursday by the Rev. Canon D.A. Loferski of St. John's Episcopal church. Burial: Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at Turner east until 11:30 am Thursday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
