Lois was born to Clarence and Geneve Acocks on May 10, 1927. She married William "Bill" Wells, who passed away in November 1975. She later married Gerald "Jerry" McKean on Valentine's Day of 1983. She worked at Cummins Studio Candy for many years, and as a floral arranger at St. Mark's Hospital, where she won three blue ribbons.
Lois is survived by her husband Gerald, children Sheri (Carlos Dominguez) Wells, Ron (Sherrie) Wells, Randy (Colleen) Wells, and Deon McKean, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Robert Acocks and Gene Falkenrath. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Helen Pullan and Shirley Ballard.
Lois loved to dance and be with her friends. She was Jerry's best dance partner for 32 glorious years.
Graveside services will be held at Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah) Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
The family wishes to express gratitude for the tender care of Canyon Hospice, especially Karen, Kimmy, and Michelle.
