James Clarence Aldred, 82, of Rt. 1, Woodlawn, died April 26, 1990, in Twin County Community Hospital.

He was born in Carroll County October 21,1907, to Troy Aldred and Emma Jean Fowler Aldred.

Surviving him are two sons, Bill Aldred, Galax, and Dick Aldred, Woodlawn three brothers, Harden Aldred, Galax, Edgar Aldred, Pennsylvania, and Kyle Aldred, North Carolina; six grandchildren, and six greatgrandchildren.

Graveside rites were conducted April 28, 1990 in Monta Vista Memory Gardens, with Elder Jess Higgins officiating.

Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
