Son of the late James and Bessie Cole Arvin, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Bland. He was survived by his wife, Theresa Kay Arvin, sons. Sean (Katrina), Stephen, and Jason Arvin; grandsons, Maxwell and Jack Arvin; brothers, Gary Arvin (Karen) and James Arvin, Jr.; and an extended family of relatives and friends. His funeral was held on October 1, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel with Fr. Gene Schroeder officiating.
