Mr. Barrientez was born on July 6, 1950 in Sweeney to parents Frank and Ignacia Gutierrez Barrientez Sr.
He was retired and had been a Livingston resident since January 2002, moving from Shepherd. He was known as a loving husband, father, grand-father and friend. He was a versatile man who enjoyed bowling, coaching softball,playing billiards, playing with his grandchildren and dancing.
He is survived by his wife, Dee of Livingston; son, Manuel Barrientez Jr. of Shepherd; daughters, Lisa Barrientez of New Caney and Christina Davis of Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Henry, Ruben, Richard, Alfonso, Frank, Joe Alex, Raymond and Lupe Barrientez; sisters, Annice Mendevil, Rosa Salinas and Lucia Zertuche and grandchildren, Morgan Mariah Barrientez and Jordan Pierce Barrientez.
