Funeral services for Mrs. Eugene (Lucille) Poser, age 60, were held on Thursday, January 29, 1987 from Trinity Lutheran Church in New York MIlls, MN, with the Rev. Bert Benson officiating. She died Monday, Jan 26, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena. Hymns were sung by LaDawn Koennicke, accompained by Cindy Becker at the organ. Pallbearers were Melvin Frost, Roger Frost, LArry Frost, Art Miller, Dennis Swennson and Marvin Feldt. Interment was in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Lucille Alice Poster was born December 28, 1926 at Moorhead, MN, the daughter of Mrs. Olga Neske and the late Fred Neske. She married Eugene Poser on December 22, 1947 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Evergreen in Becker County. They made their home on a farm in Homestead Township, Ottertail County. Last December 22 was their 40th wedding anniversary. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and an active member of L.W.M.L and the Pine Lake Homemakers Club.
Surv iving are her husband, Eugene; her mother, Olga Neske; four daughters, Linda (Mrs. Lloyd Schultz), Perham, Barbara, (Mrs. Gary Schultz), New York Mills, Kay Ann (Mrs. Herbert Kahilainen) New York Mills, and Tammy, (Mrs. Gary Peters) Wadena. her four son-in-laws; seven grandchildren; Lisa Schultz, Robianne Schultz, Kendra Schultz, Lance Schultz, Lacy Kahilainen, Kayla Kahilainen; also diatant relatives and a host of friends.
S he was preceeded in death by her father, Fred Neske, who died March 8, 1971.
