Based on grave location and similarity in style, R. G. could be Robert Curtis, sister to Annie E. and son of William Henry Curtis and Martha Harwood. Per "Curtis Family Of York Co VA" by Thelma Ironmonger Hansford (1989), William & Martha did have a son, Robert, born in 1863 who died bef. 1880. (p. 80). The only oddity is that the grave is for a "Jr."
