Mr. Delbert Pryor Snow, age 93, of Mayfield, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Brookdale of Murray.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, American Legion Post #26, a Navy veteran of WW II, a retired cutter of the Merit Clothing Company and a retired Graves County school bus driver.
Mr. Snow is survived by one daughter, Debbie Snow (Bobby) Boggess of Murray, KY; three grandchildren, Trad (Michele) Carlisle of Georgetown, KY, Brooke (Billy) Keeling of Dexter, KY, and Blair (Jake) Daughaday of Murray, KY; seven great grandchildren, Kiera Carlisle, Cade Carlisle, Garrett Keeling, Gage Keeling, Gavin Daughaday, Jack Daughaday and Piper Daughaday; and two cousins, Rudy Higgins of Peoria, IL and David Higgins of Mayfield, KY.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Sheridan Snow; his second wife, Alma Bagsby Snow; two brothers, Vernon and Dalton Snow; and his parents, Elvis and Lillian Higgins Snow.
Funeral services for Mr. Delbert Pryor Snow will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield, KY. Dr. Wes Fowler will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Highland Park Mausoleum with military graveside rites being performed by American Legion Post #26 of Mayfield.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
