March 21, 1947 - September 15, 2015


John was born on March 21,1947 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, to John Aaron Berry and Anita Rice Berry.

He was joined by a brother,Jerry and a *sister. The family spent their lives in many countries of the world, from Utah to Japan and Europe. John had an affinity for the Japanese culture and architecture, developed during his years growing up in Japan.

John joined the Air Force as a young man, but his time in the service was cut short by health problems that plagued him throughout his life. He found great peace in the practice of Buddhism. He was a good man with a golden heart.

He entered into a peaceful place on September 15, 2015, joining his parents and brother.

He will be missed by his extended family and close friends. We are certain he is surrounded by happiness at last.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday September 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Camp Williams Memorial Park on Redwood Road in Bluffdale.
