Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Kimber and West Chapel, where friends may call Tuesday evening. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr Fogarty was born Nov. 7, 1884, at Princeton, Mo. He was a tavern owner in Galesburg 30 years, retiring Sept. 1, 1953. He was employed as a deputy sheriff in Taylorville prior to locating in Galesburg. He also was employed as a coal miner a period of years in Iowa, Kansas and Illinois. Mr. Fogarty was married to Mrs. Ruth (White) Clovis June 15, 1939, at Kahoka, Mo. He was a member of the Galesburg _________ of Eagles.
Survivors include three children by two previous marriages, Carroll W. Fogarty and Mrs. Henry (Patricia) Lewis, of Galesburg, and Edward Fogarty of Camarillo, Calif., a brother John of Taylorville; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Stover of Sacramento, Calif., and six grandchildren.
