PANA -- Walter Casmer, 71, of Martin, TN, formerly of Pana, died 9 a.m. Saturday (July 26, 1986) in Baptist Central Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Tuesday in D J Kennedy & Sons Funeral Home, Pana. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana.
Mr Casmer was born in Downers Grove, son of Frank and Helen Casmer. He was retired from General Telephone Co. He was a World War II Army veteran. He married Annie Lee Abbott.
Surviving are his wife; son, Dennis of San Ramon, CA; stepson, David Lee Garner of Franklin Park; stepdaughter, Alice Mae Garner of Martin, TN; brothers, Edward of Harwood Heights; Stanley of Tower Hill; Harold of Palm Beach, FL; stepmother, Helen Casmer of Pana; five grandchildren.
