Richard Merle Horan, 68, formerly of Verndale and Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Linnea Residence in Chisago City.
He was born on July 11, 1942 in Freeborn County, Minnesota to Merle and Ruby (Thofson) Horan. In 1947 the family moved to Cambridge and Richard attended the Pine Lake Country School through sixth grade. He was confirmed at Cambridge Lutheran Church and also attended Cambridge High School.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Shirley Horan, Darlene Horan Baldwin, and mother Ruby. Richard is survived by his father Merle Horan of Verndale, siblings Helen and husband Jerry Dahms, Betty and husband Sheldon Krantz, Audrey and husband Dennis Anderson, William and wife Beverly Horan, Sharon and husband Paul Neunsinger, Marjorie Zortman, Gary and wife Mila Horan, Michael and wife Marsha Horan, Merlin Horan, aunt Jean Anderson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
