WELLS TANNERY, Pa. - Maude E. Earley, 91, of 1669 Metzler Road, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at her home.
Born May 13, 1910, in Wells Tannery, she was the daughter of the late Hayes R. and Alice Shaffer Bivens.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Wells Valley United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph F. Earley, whom she married May 29, 1937; one daughter, Judy Bookheimer of McConnellsburg, Pa.; one son, Terry Earley of Greencastle, Pa.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Goldie Gracey, Edith Beegle and Olive Bolinger; and two brothers, John Bivens and LeRoy Bivens.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wells Valley United Methodist Church. The Rev. George Clippinger will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg. Visitation also will be Sunday at 1 p.m. at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to Wells Valley United Methodist Church, 3543 Blacks Mountain Road, Waterfall, PA 16689.
