Valeria Horton Cornett passed away September 19, 2015, at age 91, at Liberty Health Care Center, in Liberty, Texas.
Valeria was born on August 15, 1924, to Calvin Horton and Eva Boyd Horton. Valeria was the Office Manager for Right Way Sand Company, in Highlands, for many years.
Valeria is survived by her 5 loving children, daughters Mary Evelyn Smith & husband Ken, Wanda Lyn Brandt & husband Ed, sons Clifford Roy Cornett, Jr., Russell Earl Cornett, and George Calvin Cornett and grand-children Kelly Lynn Colvin & husband Travis, Roy Alan Cornett & wife Jennifer, Jarad Calvin Cornett, Royce Kade Cornett & wife Chelsea, Roslyn Kaye Cornett-Gleason & husband Cody.
She was preceded in death by grandson Toby Lee Cornett. Great grand-children include, Heather Lyn Hallman Orchard, Mackenzie Nicole Massengale, Cutter Lane Cornett, Shooter Alan Cornett, Gunner Blade Cornett, Jagger Reese Strickhausen, Jett Ryan Cornett, Hayes Douglas Gleason.
Funeral services will be held at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at 12 Noon. Clifford Roy Cornett, Jr., Roy Alan Cornett, Ed Brandt and Ken Smith will serve as Pallbearers. A private family interment will be held at Sterling-White Cemetery, Highlands, TX.
