MAUPIN, WILLIAM E., 84, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 10, 2005, at Jewish Hospital. William was born to the late John Will and Maggie Louise Fowler Maupin in Finley, KY. Mr. Maupin was a retired Machine Operator for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. and a member of Eastern Gate Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Ruth Richerson Maupin; daughters, Connie Jean Hope, Nancy Louise Hukle and Donna May Mattingly; and three sons, William D., Nathan E., and Bobby Francis Maupin. His funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks, Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd., with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family may kindly visit from noon - 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
