Bossier City, LA – James (Jim) Henry Floyd of Bossier City, LA died May 30, 1995 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 1, 1995 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Frederick, OK. Burial was in Frederick Cemetery. Frederick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Officiating was Rev. Vernon Floyd, assisted by Brent Morey.
Mr. Floyd was born March 9, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas to Vernon and Omega Floyd. He married Debby Gant, November 9, 1968 in Frederick, OK. Mr. Floyd was currently finance manager at
Shreveport Dodge and was former finance manager for SW Ford in Oklahoma City. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bossier City, LA. Mr. Floyd moved with his family to Frederick in 1954, he graduated from Frederick High School and attended Southwest Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. He enjoyed golf, his church and cooking.
Survivors include his parents, Vernon and Omega Floyd; one son, James Chad Floyd of Frederick; two brothers, Roy Vernon Floyd of Bonham, Texas and Randy Dewayne of Enid, OK; two sisters, Dianne Gant of Frederick and Debbie Morey of Frederick. Also survived by special friend, Sharon Fullerton of
Shreveport, LA.
