Loyola H. Hockert, 67, of 2018 15th Ave. N.W., a homemaker, died of a cerebral aneurysm Saturday (Nov. 5, 1994) at St. Marys Hospital after a brief illness.

Loyola H. Schnettler was born Feb. 20, 1927, in St. Cloud, Minn., grew up there and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1946.

On Sept. 6, 1948, she married Thomas P. Hockert in St. Cloud and they moved to Rochester from Fargo, N.D., in 1958. Her husband is a retired insurance adjuster.

She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar societies, was a past volunteer for Birthright, and was a past board member and active volunteer for Hiawatha Children's Home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Wilmont officiating. Entombment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
