Wilhelmina Florentine "Minna" Kruetz was born on February 12, 1863 to Fredrich Kruetz and unknown Janusch in Pommern, Germany. Born on the same date was Rosalie (Kruetz) Gnadt, Minna's twin sister.

She married Theodore Noffke in about 1884.

Theodore, Minna, and their first three children boarded the ship, "Columbia" and traveled from Hamburg to the New York on 19 Apr 1890, The Noffke family settled in Detroit, Michigan. When Minna died on August 4, 1901, Theodore was left with eight children to raise.
