Audie Baker, 88, of Big Spring died Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in Big Spring.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Elwin Collom, pastor, Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born March 2, 1927, in Cleburne to Ethel and Charlie Turner.

She lived most of her life in Howard County.

She was a homemaker and also worked at the Wagon Wheel for 25 years.

She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She loved fishing and cooking.

She is survived by five sons: Alvin Baker and his wife Edith of Coahoma, Robert Baker of Big Spring, Nathan Baker and his wife Trina of Big Spring, Jimmy Baker and his wife Susie of Lubbock, and Jesse Baker and his wife Connie of Big Spring; two daughters: Glenda Bray of Big Spring, and Susie Roach and her husband Jerry of Big Spring; one brother: Dub Turner and his wife Hazel of Rim Lap, Alabama; one sister: Myrtle Cline of Norman, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Alvin Baker; one daughter: Alice Rueda; one grandson: David Tillapaugh; two brothers: Ocie Turner and Johnny Turner; one sister: Nova Turner and one son-in-law: Speck Bray.

Pallbearers will be Edward Roach, Randy Roach, Mike McCormick, Joe McCormick, Cory Baker, Khas Baker, Mike Baker, Chad Rader, and Billy Tillapaugh.
