Married first, ~1909 NE, William Bowman
Another Bowman son, Charles Ernest "Charley" (1910 NE-1990 NE)

Married second, Nov 15 1933 Taylor Co, NE, Glen Edwards
------------------------------------------------
Mrs. Glenn Edward Succumbs at Ericson

May Hobson [sic] was born in Iowa, Aug. 23, 1890, and passed away in Ericson Saturday, Jan. 30, being 46 years, 6 months and 7 days of age at the time of her death. Her father was a Methodist minister. She was married first to a Mr. Bowman, and to this union three children were born. They are Allen Bowman and wife, Charley Bowman, and Mrs. Albert Dinnell [sic], all of Ericson. Her first husband died a number of years ago.
She was married to Glenn Edwards of near Ericson on Nov. 15, 1933. Their married life was exceptionally happy for more that three years. On January 2, of this year she was stricken with scarlet fever while she and her husband were alone in their farm home. Three times that day Mr. Edwards tried to get out to summon help, but the fury of the storm made progress almost impossible.
When word got out in the neighborhood all who could be reached went to work to shovel a road to Ericson, where the sick woman was taken as soon as possible. It is thought that lack of medical attention at a vital time may have been partly the cause of her death. She remained in Ericson under the doctor's care all through January and everything possible was done for her, but heart trouble and other complications had secured such a grip that she could not recover.
Funeral services were held at Ericson Monday, Rev. Smith of Cotesfield having charge of the services, and the body was laid to rest in the Ord cemetery. In addition to her husband and three children at Ericson, she leaves to mourn her passing a brother, Ralph Hobson, wife and 7 children of Taylor; a brother-in-law, William Stevens and family, of Cotesfield. Mr. Edwards has a brother and a sister living here, John Edwards and Mrs. Carl Sorensen.
