Myrtle Kahl, 102, of Austin, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.
She was born July 29, 1913 in Austin, and was the daughter of the late Henry Huls and Ivy (Lyle) Huls. She was married to the late Bill Kahl. She was a member of the Austin Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Sondra Campbell, Austin. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kahl; daughter, Judy Hill; sisters, Ruby Whitsett, Lucy Lewis; brothers, Harlan Huls, and Ray Huls and a son-in-law, C.B. Campbell.
Funeral service will be at 2 pm Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, with Pastor Dave Huey officiating. Visitation will be 11 am to 2 pm Sunday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Austin Cemetery.
