Rites Set For Native of Ruthven
Funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church at Ruthven for Edward T Washington, 76, of Eagle Bend Minn.
A native of Ruthven, he had been visiting a daughter at Storm Lake at the time he became ill. He died at a Storm Lake Hospital Thursday.
Fr. Melvin Hood will be celebrant at the rites. Rosary will be tonight at 8 pm at the Lightle-Hayes Funeral Home at Ruthven.
Mr Washington is survived by his wife, Lucille, three daughters Mrs Edith Hansen of Storm Lake, Mrs Bette DeMack of Downey CA, and Mrs Ethel Hadley Long Beach Ca and one son Richard Washington of Hopkinsville KY
Also surviving are a brother and sister, Vincent Washington of Omaha NE and Mrs Margaret Ball of Emmetsburg, and 5 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
