Joseph Musial, 70, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday at his home in San Pierre, Ind.
The decedent was born in Chicago on July 7, 1878, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Musial. His wife and parents preceded him in death.
A retired business man, he moved to San Pierre several years ago from Chicago.
The body is at the Kosanke Brothers funeral home in Kouts and will be taken to Chicago Friday for services Saturday at the Beevar funeral home. Burial will be in the National Bohemian cemetery.

--The Vidette-Messenger of Porter County
(Valparaiso, IN), Thurs., Nov. 4, 1948, Pg. 6

*The spelling of the last name should be Musil, not Musial as is shown in the obituary, typed as is. Also, there is another error in the obituary. It shows he was born in Chicago. He was born in Czechoslovakia according to numerous other documents.*

**According to both the death certificate and obituary, Joseph was buried in the National Bohemian Cemetery in Chicago, not in San Pierre as this memorial was originally placed. ~~ I changed burial location from San Pierre to Nat'l Bohemian Cemetery on 03/30/2022.**
