Relatives and friends of Mrs. Edwin Eckert, formerly Elsie Moll, were shocked last Saturday on hearing of her death at the Holy Family hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Eckert were former citizens of this neighborhood, having moved to a farm near Monterey about a year ago. She was the daughter of Oscar Moll. Elsie received her education in the San Pierre school and was a popular girl among her many friends and acquaintances. Funeral services will be held at the St. Luke's church on Wednesday afternoon and burial will be made in the San Pierre cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Eckert had been members of the St. Luke's church until they left this community.
