RAYMOND C. BRESSON, aged 85, of Cincinnati Ohio, formerly of Independence and Richfield Ohio, died September 7, 2015 in the loving care of the Hospice of Cincinnati after a brief, age-related illness. The son of Clarence G. and Alta (Girard) Bresson, Raymond served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in San Diego on the USS Nereus.

Ray is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, the former Juanita Grace King "Sam" and two sons, Scott (2002) and Brian (1962). His sister Eleanor and brothers Ken and Donald also preceded him. Survivors include his five daughters and one son, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister.

He was employed as a draftsman at E. F. Hauserman Company but was also a volunteer firefighter, EMT, police and fire dispatcher in Independence, Ohio. After he retired, he worked part-time for the Independence Service Department.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 5700 Brecksville Road, 3rd floor, Independence, Ohio 44131.

Ray and Sam will be inurned at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a later date.
